Project ARWP!!!
~I am excited to announce that I have officially become a member of Project ARWP. If you are unsure what that actually is, please follow the link and check it out.
~I knew right away I needed to part of this fantastic group as RWP often drive me nuts.
~case in point: it seems I must wear a sign (that I cannot see) which states my fond appreciation for my personal space and that one should NOT invade it, however the opposite always occurs. today waiting in line @ the post office, not a small post office either, no reason to be breathing down my neck. back off! in line at the movie theatre or in line freakin' anywhere. invasion of my personal space is hands down my #1 pet peeve.
~but personal space invasion is not the only stupid thing that RWP do. go here to find out what constitutes someone as a RWP!

I have an issue with people invading my personal space too. I'm going to write a book (someday) and tell people how to behave in public... you know.. all stuff they should have learned but to which they pay no attention.
Wow, I totally agree with all of those!! Especially the bus and the ambulance ones. I cant stand people who dont pull over for an ambulance!!! As far as personal space goes, I think people in the military get a much smaller bubble as the years go on. We are so accustom to standing in line and trying to fit 300 people in a lunch line that is made for 100. And if you travel overseas at all, leave your bubble at home, because NOONE in europe or the middle east seems to have a personal space bubble or deodorant!!! YUCKY YUCKY!! A crowded subway in France can really be a life changing experience!!! Whew!!

Hooray for ARWP!
OMG - the space thing is my biggest pet peeve too! I hate hate hate when people don't give me my space. Sometimes I even turn around and give them a look - I try not to make it too dirty of one, but one to let them know to back off. Sometimes if they are so close to me, I will even back up 'pretending' they aren't there so they get the hint to get out of my space. It's like - you will get your turn when it is your turn and not a minute sooner. Standing closer to me will not get you there any faster, in fact, it might make me take my time just to annoy you since you annoyed me. I guess I am mean but it drives me nuts!
When the RWP don't take a hint about personal space I start standing sideways with my legs apart and then put my weight on the leg away from them. I create my own bubble that way and it usually works.
I hate Personal Space Invaders. Unfortunately, they are a common issue at WDW. Normally, I can escape...unless it happens when I've staked out prime fireworks or parade real estate. =P
